Under the Interstate Driver’s Compact, many states now share ticket and license suspension information and cross-honor violations and driver’s license suspensions. If you live in one of those states, you will be prevented from driving or applying for driving
privileges in your home state until your open New York tickets or fines are taken care of. We are often contacted by individuals whose issues are so old that they have no idea what or when they violated. Because New York does not have a statewide online ticket system (except in the Traffic Violations Bureau) clients often have to hire us to first research the basis for their suspension before we can proceed to get it removed.
